COURSE OBJECTIVES

This programme is aimed at those candidates that do not yet have proven competence in Learning & Development (L&D) practice. The programme enables general group and individual advisory and support skills, while giving participants the ability to support learners to understand assessment and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) practices. The programme may also be taken as part of a full generalist qualification at NQF Level 4. The purpose of the Evidence Collection Facilitators (ECF) is to assist learners and RPL candidates to collect evidence of competence to enhance the summative assessment process. The ECF supports the Assessors greatly by preparing the learners for their assessments. Ideal Evidence Facilitators are qualified artisans who are qualified and experienced in the field in which the learners have to be assessed. It also embraces practitioners who are required to design, develop & implement assessment for any instructional offering which is part of an accredited Higher Education (HE) programme.
